Busy week
Well no pictures ..battery keeps going dead... Why are some weeks busier than others?
Monday- Wes worked on getting his fence netting up in garden for cuc and tomatoes and I did laundry. We ordered a swing set and extra baby seat for the boys...
Tuesday- Wes and I went to Mesquite, for airplane parts and new lawn mowers blades. And what is wrong with me??? I couldn't think of a place I needed to go except Borders book store. We ate lunch at Soulman Bar B Q, then got own business taken care of, before going to Borders...We were back by 4 and rested til 6pm then headed to the Sirlion Stockage for dinner and the VVW meeting. ( Vietnam Veteran War) Seems like a fun group and learned alot of info about getting into Veteran system.
Wednesday we woke up to rain.. got 1/2 inch in 12 hrs then the skies opened up and by the next morning we had 5 inches of rain..shouldn't need to water for a few days.
We just read most of the day cause the computer and tv goes out with the storms. After all that digging Wes lost half of his ditch when the creek turned into the mighty river. Even our road had flooded out areas.
Soupie called and we had a nice chat, which we both us needed. He seems to doing fine and busy with helping with his folks, that need to be taken care of. He say he would like to come for a weekend soon..our door is always open for him anytime.
Thursday- Its too wet to mow or work outside...doing little projects inside. I went to Walmart to pick prescription and shopping for the grand babies,,,well they need a few things for when they to grams and Papa house... the baby seat and anchor set came via UPS. Now just waiting for the set and we can get it put together , hopefully before ewe head to AL next Thurs. but if not Papa can and boys will do it when we get back the following Monday, when its not too hot.
I went to church meeting to meet the new Pastor who comes to us from Keller area. Leslie Biryd ? She will start on the 20th. I think she will fit right in.
Today will clean my kitchen...Wes cooked burgers and fries last night... going to get Susannne quilt on frame and get that done, well ok started... go stake up my flowers that the rain beat down.
Tomorrow we have a genealogy meeting at the library 10a.m. Hope to find out when the Brushie Prairie Homecoming meeting is so we can go to that. One of the great grandmother Sarah French, headstone is in need of repair and we need to kinda get a ok so we can start that process.
Some weeks its nothing and then others are so busy we are running around like chickens with our heads cut off.

It was nice to be back in church but so many things going on.. First next Sunday is Pastor Buddy and his wife Susan last day. They will be going to Ballinger in west TX. We will be getting a lady pastor and her family from Keller, that's above Ft. Worth area. She will start the 20th and take over our church and the Kerens church. It was Scout Sunday for our boys religious awards and 2 of them will be going to Jamboree. It was fun to talk to them out scouting..good memories.
Next week is Mission Trip. The youth all 3 of them will be going with other area youth to work on Indian Reservation...more memories...
Added more flower pictures cause in this heat them go fast..its the stupid black racer snake that scared me as much as I scared it while I was taking pictures last night that did me in...grrr.

We are Home!
Well we left California on Monday morning and stopped in Deming New Mexico for the night. Left Tues morningat 7a.m. and got home about 9 p.m last night. I still havent stopped moving.
I got a call when we were going thru Phoenix from Tip, Lori Lee son, to say she took a turn for the worst Sunday and he was sorry he hadnt called sooner. Lori Lee is in a Hospice faculty and probably wont make it thru the next couple of days. Shes in and out of it and doesnt respond much. I called Soupie for directions and he said that Lori Lee requested no visitors,,,aahmmm,, so I had Soupie put the phone up to her ear for a few minutes so I could talk to her, tell I loved her and pray for her...there was a sweet message from Soupie saying Thank You and that he knows she heard me cause she gave a slight movement. Remember them in prayers.
Update on Linda Free in San Diego... Doctors got all the brain tumor. It was size of small tangerine. They thought she might have a bleeder but after another MRI, she didn't and her atttude is getting better. She did have a lung collaspe and they got that fixed and under control. Dr. decided to take out her tyroid too. So she is still in ICU recovering. Craig say shes doing better. He says to tell everyone THANK YOU for your prayers too.
