Christmas in California
Started off this month vacation with all the girls at Harvest Festival, Disneyland, then Lara foot surgery. Lara did good the first 2 weeks but it was hard to keep her off that foot the 3rd week. Didnt get to visit work or few other friends but got the ones that was needed. Wes drove in from California the 14th. We took the boys to Irvine Park to ride the train and see the small zoo there. Spent Christmas Eve with Jim family and then our family and Lynn & Archie got together for Christmas afternoon. The boys got enough toys to last a year at least.
Wes got Slap Stick game from the 1960s and we had a great time playing it..We all went to Olivera St. for taquitos.
We were very glad to be able to have couple days with Mary Jane and her son Charlie. He is recuperating well. The drive back home to Texas, on New Years Eve and New Years Day was very light. We wish and prayer that everyone has a blessed and Happy New Year.

Happy Thanksgiving
Where has this month gone! It has been about 15 degree warmer most of the month, like yesterday was 81...got up this morning to 64 and it has dropped 10 degree in the last hour. We picked whats left of the garden since we are to have a hard freeze tonight and tomorrow. We all certainly have LOTS to be Thankful for: God, family friends, health. Life is like a drop of rain in a pond that ripples out and effects all of us. Special praise to God for Charlie and his healing.

The newest animal- Goldie
About a month ago I could hear something eating out of the dog pan by the fromt window so I turned on the porch light and found a dark gray cat...I think it was one from the Baumgartners and with it was this tab color kitten...Danny named it Goldie.
I realized the gray cat disappeared and left the kitten...Its pretty wild and it is just to the point that it will come about a foot from me when I take its food out . Now if I can just keep Blackie and Louie, next door dogs, from eating its food we will be good.
