Going to Texas

Brian and Lucas did real well on the long drive to Pa-Pa house...many questions of are we at Texas yet? Why? Wheres Danny? We see cows? We go to Papa house?
We stopped every couple of hours and at every welcome Visitor Center so the boys could get out and move. We got home at 8:30 and Brian was disappointed cause it got dark and he couldnt see the house. Boys forgot all about that when Danny met them at the door...lots of playing and then settled down for the night...

Trip to Alabama

We decided to go get Brian and Lucas earlier this year for what we call Gram Camp,cause last June was so hot. We spent a day just hanging out, eating Chinese Food and visiting before heading back to TX with the 2 older boys.
Jacob is crawling and rolling all over the place. He even has 3 teeth in and the 4th will be coming in real soon..

Dads Pecan Trees

Wes received his birthday present from his sister Mary, 2 Pecan Trees...they should start producing in 2 to 3 years...

There Back !

YES! I had to go buy 4 new chairs...good old reliable white chairs. Wes had fell threw 2 of the other ones.. next will be the metal ones... :)

Farmer in the Dell

Wes has his big garden and its almost totally planted...We planted carrots, radishes,turnips,beets,2 kinds of hot peppers,garlic, okra and blackeye peas.
Still need to get seedlings put out today: more tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, and cantaloupe. We have the early corn and 2 kinds of onion over in a raised bed...
then theres the herb section: have oregano, basil, dill, chives. I kept the spearmint and thyme in its pots.

New kids on the block

Meet the new kids across the road from me, Brody and Ondriah. Brody is 7 and Ondraih is 9. They moved here in Dec. from North Dakota. Brooke is in heaven with someone to play with besides me but they all come over to visit.

March- in like a lion

I flew out to Calif to be with Lara for her gall bladder surgery on the 4th and spent 2 weeks. Lara had allergic reaction to her bandages and a terrible itch & rash around the 3 incension sites...but she is all well and back to work.
Was able to visit with Stephanie, Debbie and my great niece Kennedy.
Even escaped a few hours to have coffee with Lynne.
