Where theres a will there a way

LOL...Today was 30 mile an hour winds warnings ...People in Texas don't know what winds are... they weren't the Santa Ann winds that for sure...

Wes cant get his lawn mower working just yet and the grasses are getting to high for me so I got out my trust rusty weed whacker and 100 foot cord and went to work...Wes got out the gas powered whacker and got the thicker stuff...ended up doing half the front yard. Wes will get the rest for the front yard and the ditch done tomorrow...

We had the most beautiful day today..it was clear skies,about 80and windy. On Wes and my walk around the area we have found the Texas bluebonnets out by the back fence...also have 6 tulips in red and purple coming up under bedroom window.

We spotted deer tracks out back but found new tracks out in front yard by the tree the past few days. Danny say he heard they on the porch...sure Danny,,,,they are probably sitting on the rocking chairs too....

Danny and I went to the church on Fri. and took some pictures and printed them out for Lori Lee. She asked for them and I'll take them to her when we go for a short visit on Monday. She isn't doing well and taking the morphine pills for pain....not much more for the dr to do for her. Just pray for them...

In Honor of Danny

Today Danny started his orientation for his new job at Walmart in Waxahachie. I decided to make him a special dinner to celebrate: Steak, twice baked potatoes and homemade cheesecake with strawberries. It turned out good for never making twice baked or cheesecake from scratch. Heres to your job Danny, congrats!

Spring Time in TX

Well this has been a interesting week...it has been cold, windy, warm and then last night, we had a storm come thru and dumped almost 2 inches of rain in like an hour or so...but today it was beautiful blue skies and warm. I see the creek is real full and trees are getting ready to bud out. My tulips are popping up and the daffodils and crocus are blooming. If I ever get the camera to download my pictures I'll post them....
Wes lawn mower has frozen up so we will be looking into a new mower...ggrrrr
