Trick or Treat

Brooke came over after school on Fri ready for Trick or Treat,,,Trick! its not Halloween yet came back tomorrow. So here she come this morning and she's was so hyper with a bag full of candy. She gave Wes a candy that when he bit it it started to fizzle and foam. Well you know thats all he needs to tease her and keeps trying to get her candy bag...they are fighting over the Dum Dums.....She wants to boob trap Dannys door with her plastic spiders but decides to tape one on his door handle.. honest Danny,,, I didnt do it!
Trick! I told her to come back later. As soon as she went home, we went to Walmart, Wes is now on the hunt to get Brookes trick or treat...oh you poor girl...He got a bag of Dum Dums and gave her only the mystery ones and Starburst, Taffy,and MilkyWay...
Ahhh! little Brian and Lucas cars turned out so cute...I hope they have a great time going out Trick or Treating with Aunt Lara tomorrow night...

Plane # 2 lost

Well. Wes lost his second plane his red and white Cub, up in the trees again. This time its waaay out in the back pasture trees behind the house. We went and bought 4 - 12 ft pvc pipes and connectors, in hopes that we could push or hit it out of the tree...still not enough, too short. So Wes went and bought another 12 ft pipe and connector. Now we are running out of light so it will have to wait til tomorrow and I will post pictures... So I ask you,,,Can you see this plane? what is wrong with the other picture????

Branson,,,

Anyone who knows me, knows that Fall is my favorite season.. and the trees were just starting to turn...On Sat the whole reunion met for a bar-b-q at the state park at the lake...it started to rain during storys around the campfire, so we headed back to the hotel... we just got settled in our room when the hotel fire alram goes off... so we gather our important things and walk down 4 flights of stairs to the lobby and go outside and watch the firetrucks come roaring up...false alarm!
We had about 3 hours free on Sat. so we drove to old downtown Branson.
That is where I found the Dicks 5 & 10 store...man oh man was it neat. Went thru a couple of other shops while walking back to the car. Wes had a planning meeting at 1:00 and then it was pictures at 4:00 and the banquet started at 5:30...Very fast and busy 3 days. We headed home down the Ark /OK border to Texercana...had severe storm & tornado warning all the way home but they seemed to go right around us.
We did pull over just outside of Corsicana because of the heaavy hail, the size of marbles and heavy rain. That was just about the same time the tornado hit Rice about 15 miles from us...

Branson, MO trip

We went to Branson MO for Wes SeaBee military battalion reunion. It was great fun and we met alot of interesting people. We were so busy we didnt get to one show in town. On Fri after breakfast and couple of hours of talking we headed out to see the town and stopped in at the Veterans Museum. Here is a Alpha company group picture at the banquet on Sat night.

Great visit

We definitely packed ALOT into the 3 full days we were there and had a great time....

Meeting Jacob

Oh our newest grandson, Jacob is just the cutest thing...he's so little compared to the pictures. Very good natured and melted this grandmas heart with his smiles and cooing to me. I'm glad I was been able to get the cross stitch crib blanket completed. Just need to get his name put on wall announcement and get it framed. He is starting to wiggle around on his play mat and loves his swing.

Lucas 2nd birthday

We went to AL for Lucas 2nd birthday...He has sucha cute personality and good natured but you can see the 2s coming...NO! and would cry at a drop of a hat...Becky made a cake and Brian made vanilla ice cream. We had Jerry and Stacy & Brian and Adion over ffor tacos. After dinner we played birthday picture bingo for the kids, then had cake and ice cream. Lucas loved his different presents; Woody and his horse, his own green light saber, hot wheels cars and small garage,and a sit n spin.
