Welcome Kennedy Rylee Balber

I am a GREAT Aunt! Congrats Stephanie & Ryan.. Kennedy Rylee Balber arrived on Wed. night Feb. 16, at 7:43 p.m. She weighed 8lb.-5 oz. Still waiting for someone to tell me her lenght.
Today Friday Feb. 18th, her and her parents will be going home. Blessings.

Happy Birthday Wes

Happy 65th Birthday Wes! All the kids went together and got Wes a new 42 inch LCD colored TV and a stand. Its funny when we found out that Wes mom gave had given his dad a new colored TV for his 65th birthday too... he also got a gift certificate to HOME DEPO from me and his sister Mary is buying him 2 pecans trees of his choice...

Snow again!

Man this has been a rough week here in TX...rain, ice, wind and rolling black outs due to TX electric black outs. Good thing we had couple days of firewood. The extreme low temps of mid to low 20 was bad enough but its that wind chillfactor that does it. Good thing we didnt have to venture out much this week. Woke up to 5 ot 6 inches of snow this morning. It beatuiful and so glad we can see it from a warm house.

I got a call from a local florist in town asking for directions to our house to make a delivery... I got lovely flowers from Lara and Jim...
