Calif- Lara bd and baby shower

Oh I love seeing my mountains as I fly into Ontario... I had a very restful and enjoyable week. Lara and I worked on baby room.

We went to her dr appt and seeing and hearing Emily is such a thrill. She is right on at 34.5 weeks dr says,,, and it was Lara 32 birthday..Oh, it cant be, I remembering just having Lara and now my baby is having her 1st baby...

Jim and his folks and I celebrated by taking her to Cheesecake Factory for dinner.

 I gave her flowers from Dad and I and her $ puzzle box.. :)

On Saturday Stephanie, Katie, Katie mom Sue hosted Lara's baby shower. They did such a wonderful job. There was about 40 ladies there. It took 2 trip in the car to get all the stuff to Lara & Jims house. 

Homeward Bound

Truck is packed and loaded....had to wake boys up at 7am..oh sure now they sleep in.... About 9am we had mini donuts and choc milk for breakfast on the road. Stopped in Athen for potty stop... Boys did well and seemed occupied watching cartoons on DVD....Gram made surprise sacks made up with toys, books, activitys and snacks. We stopped at each stateline reststop to stretch and get wiggles out.

 About 3pm we stopped in Clinton Miss at McDonald for lunch.  Just outside of Clinton Mis , little Jacob got car sick. We got him all cleaned up and changed and continued down the highway. Again just before the the Al/Miss border reststop he got sick... got him changed again and let the boys do some extra playingbefore going on down the road.

At 7:30 dinner on the road, it wasLunchables with meat, cracker, string cheese, grapes and gatoraide... Jacob didnt eat much,few crackers and some gatoraide. 

In Montgemery, AL Jacob got sick again as we were stopping for gas. Got him some Pepto tablets and changed him...poor baby. I called Becky to let her know We got boys home at 10pm and got Jacob a bath and in PJ.and pedilite..

Boys came home to a new painted bedroom and new carpet with all the toys all organized. Put boys to bed at 10:30 and they were all fast asleep in 5 minutes....

day 10

Our last day of Grandma Camp...its kinda sad but excitment from the boys as they packed their toy bag... we had a morning of playing on swings, in sandbox, watching cartoon, played on computer . Brooke came over about noon and they played and danced in sunroom.  Amber brought all her kids over to meet Al cousins. We had pizza, then we all went out  back and kids played , had bubbles, just a good time. We actually got a picture of ALL the kidsm plus Brooke.  In closing it was ice cream and cake, then Amber and her family went home and the boys got a bath and PJs on... a perfect ending to Gram Camp. Cant wait til next year.

day 9

I thought I heard Brian about 6 am but he didnt come in to wake me...so I decided to go check and there he is sound asleep on love seat. Lot of play, and lunch in kitchen and dinner on back porch after swimming... the big event for today was Papa took each boy for a ride in his Miata (the fast red car). Well he tookBrian then Lucas to the Chocolate Factory and let them pick something. Jacob wanted his turn so Wes took him around the dirt road.... yes he let them eat chocolate at 8:20 at night...I was surprised they went to sleep by 9:15.

Day 8

Boys seem restless and cant find a toy to play with...put B on computer while I played with Lucas and Jacob... At 10 am we took a walk to the Baumgartners. They picked up lots of rocks(treasures) They loved the Baumgartners merry go round.  After lunch I took Brian and Lucas with me to store while Dad and Jacob rested... had our afternoon popsicles and played in sunroom cause it was too warm out side. Had swim time after dinner....

Day 7

Well all the boys were up early this morning..likr 5:30 and 6. We ate our cereal at the coffee table sitting in our chairs , watching the boys show (Nick Jr.)
Went out to garden and let boys help pull carrots. We saved them and took them home to Becky... then they helped Papa fill up the bird feeders and put water in bird bath.  That afternoon Brian and Lucas helped Wes gather tree logs and empty boxes for a bonfire.... we took our chairs out there and watched the cows go by and the bonfire. Little Brian seems to be getting homesick He misses his daddy...
Boys are excited when they watered their pumpkins patch and there were seedlings popping up... Let tthem have an housr of water play after dinner then got PJ on  and watched TV.

Day 6

I took the boys to church with me and were good as gold...Ms Cindy just enjoyed them. She gave them balloons, candy, and sent legos and animals home for them to play with ...like thye didnt have any toys here.. :)
Its Uncle Danny Day..(well Amber and Caleb and Caden came too) The boys are really excited.  We had pizza then had water play with splash mat, small pool , 3 ring pool, wiggle hose and the slip and slide.... cake and ice cream, more play.
I think they were all fast asleep within 15 min of going to bed.

Day 5

Had a quite morning...We went over to Danny and Ambers house. Boys had great time playing with Caleb and Caden.... Papa took us to lunch at Ci-Ci for pizza... We put together theTikes picnic table together and played in sprinklers late afternoon.

Day 4

The boys and I went to Big Lots, Attwoods, and Walmart in the morning. Had to get Jacob his stick horse and chair. Today was lawn mowing day. Each boy got his turn with Papa on the mower. Brian did very well and steered it all by himself.
Kids played with Brooke and she stayed for Tacos. Surprised boys with mini flashlights at bed time....

Day 3

Had thunderstorms all night and rained almost all day. We made tents in the living room and then played in sunroom. Late afternoon we planted our pumpkin seeds.

Day 2

Today the boys helped PaPa put the digger together. We picked broccali and had it for dinner and set up the little pool for water play. Boys loved playing with Brooke.

Grandma Camp - Day1

Even tho it took us us 15 hrs to drive from AL to TX , and we stopped lot the boys were up at 6:30 even tho they didnt go to sleep til after 10 pm. They spent the day exploring the house and all the toys. Brian and Lucas showed Jacob everything asnd kept saying I remember this...We went grocery shopping and Brooke was waiting for us when we got home. Put together the Tike bikes. Uncle Danny came in after work and played with boys for awhile.

Brians Preschool Graduation

Wes and I went to Alabama for little B preschool graduation ceremony and Jenna blessing. We brought all 3 boys back to Texas with us for 10 days for what they call Grandma Camp.
