Day 9

Well it was a loonngg night. Lucas fell out of his low bed 3 times last night in 45 minutes...I put the mattress on floor and tried to get him back to sleep but he got a second wind and didnt go back to sleep til 2:40...

We had a good day...did our usual front porch, take trash, back porch play. Lucas loves water,,,dog water, hoses , pool...Brian would rather dig...
It threatened to rain all day but never did. Went to Walmart to get papa medicine and to Taco Bell for lunch... Lucas went down for 2 hr nap and Brian played quieltly with his plane but never did go to sleep,,, Late this afternoon Pa-pa went and got his mower with his trailer on it. They had fun.
Went to Dennys for dinner and just as we were leaving the skies opened up... We went over to Brookes to give her her birthday present and boys to say bye.

We had a great time with our grandbabies and will do it again...

Day 8

We had another busy day...we went for a walk and went over to the Baumgarners to let them see the boys. They got to play on the merry go round and swing and ate a cupcake. Tom and Judy thought they were they cutest boys they had seen.
Then we went to HEB, a local grocery store with Gram to buy another pool...Ginger the german shepered dog, keep jumping in it and now it wont hold water. Since they were on sale I bought 2 and we got lunch and went back home... Lucas went down for 2 hr nap and I have to laugh cause Brian will do ANYTHING not to rest....Pa-pa has tried every day to get him to go with him on his mower and Brian didnt want anything to do with it if it was on but not today boy...he even wore a hat. They were off mowing the yards...made Wes day. He then wanted to be like papa with his cowboy hat so I let them try it out. These boys need a horse dont you think?...
Danny played with Brian on my bed and watched CARS...but didnt go to sleep. Then it was Lucas turn to play with Danny...After diner it cooled off and the boys ad I went out to back porch and they played in the sand and swings...storms coming in so we went in and got ready for bed... I cant bleieve it..Brian went to sleep before Lucas tonight...I think he was tired...

Day 7

When my alarm went off this morning I found little Brian already up and about the house...
We wait on the porch for Danny coming in from work in the mornings... had more playing with on the swings, sand and Brooke today...Pa-pa took the boys out to go to the bank, go to Walmart and McDonalds for lunch...to say the least they didnt get there rest time but slept in the car... Papa and the boys testing out the new cars.... Lucas is learning to play on the computer.
I saw a call from Becky coming in and handed Brian the phone and told him to say
"Hi Momma" and he did and totally caught Becky off guard and she lost it...
Sorry Becky...XO..boys are doing great.
We have a new worlds record!!!! Brian went to sleep before 9 p.m. YEAH!!!!!

Day 6

Brooke came to play at 8 am...Danny bought the boys a snowcone machine with 3 different flavors and a strawberry cake mix....Brian and I made the cake after his rest time... took the boys out to Ci Ci for pizza...they sure do love pizza... Lucas and I had our 30 minutes in the pool after dinner and Danny set up the WII with "Cars" for Brian...

Day 5...Lucas

Somehow time got away from us for this morning nap so we had a early lunch and Lucas went down a t noon and slept til 2:30... He didnt like the hat so we didnt stay too long this morning on the swings... He just entertained me and himself with coloring,playing with the cars, balls, and thoses boxes..he didnt care about the plane. He was happy as a can be with the pool all to himself...I think it has a leak cause it was full to the top this afternoon..oh well they are on sell so I'll go pick 2 more up at store... They are such funny but had me going this morning before Pa-pa got up....Phewoooo.

Day 5.... Brian

We have been working on wearing hat but it lasts about 2 minutes... Papa took boys outside this morning while I started laundry... Brian had great time with Papa and flying his computer planes and blimps..then we gave him a balsic airplane that was so much fun for him...He crackes me up with the water hose and sprinklers and loves that ice cream. Had a fun day...

Day 4

Well today was mostly gray and cooler so they boys got to play out front and then go help Pa-Pa fill up the bird feeders. We went out to sandbox and they had grand time there too until it started to rain and gram made they go in the house...
I'm not tired...they both took 2 hr naps. It was the boys and I for the afternoon and so we played computers, cars, more sand, and then the boys entertained them self's while I started dinner by cleaning... Brooke came over and played til 8 and then sent her home...Got boys unwound and then it was off to bed...had to go in and sit after 20 minutes cause they were having a party....

Day 3

Well, it was watering the garden with Pa-Pa this morning...they helped pick our first cucumber... todays surprise is that Pa-Pa went and pulled one of Danny rock pools out and put it on back porch and filled it with sand,,,so now we can play and dig in the sand...the boys LOVED IT! but it was 95 by 9:00 so we went in...
Boys had great time playing pirates and in the tupperware drawer... After lunch we went back to sunroom and play balls and cars and who would have known that boxes would entertain then for hours...it was hilarious to watch...
At 6:30 Brooke came over to play with boys and went swimming. Well it was more like Brian and her played in the sprinklers and hoses and Lucas had the pool to himself. It was chocalote ice cream cups and off for baths. Watched tv til 8:30 tonight and then I had to go in and sit after doing dishes, for them to stay on their beds...its just getting dark....

Day 2

It was hot by 9 am so we didnt play too much out on swings this morning... Lucas discovered the tupperware drawer and they had a great time with finding their treasures. When Lucas was down for morning nap , Brian and I went out on front porch and did bubbles and drew with chalk. He helped refill bird feeders and water the moose for the birds.
I have to laugh cause Lucas goes down about 1:00 for his afternoon nap and its Brians rest time..the rule is he has to watch tv on my bed and be quiet...if he fall asleep then I let him sleep for an hour. Today he went to sleep 10 minutes before his time was up...(he he he) so he got an hours nap...
Played in sunroom, coloring and playing with cars and balls.
After dinner we went swimming but it was really too hot so we we didnt stay out to long but had vanilla ice cream cups and then needed baths. Both were alseep by 8:30 and 9:00

Day 1

We started with a very full day...helped take the trash out, to road with gram..then Brian saw the cows and off he went to say Hi... Pa-Pa was right behind us...then they discovered the swing set....it was digging and helping feed the birds. after dinner we went to the pool for a little while since it had been such a hot day and we stayed in the house all day and played.
