Day 2

Today was calmer and not so busy. Boys up at 7 and they wanted Fruit Loops with marshmallows and bananas...hmm I just happened to have some...when Danny comes in from work, they're done and want to go play. Got them dressed for the day and Danny had a surprise for them.. more HOT WHEELS CARS so the races were on. We played out on the back porch with chalk, bubbles, balls and swinging. Pappa went his work shop and brought a load of sand for the small pool. Little Brian was in heaven with digging. What is up with this weather?..its hot and humid...
Had corn dogs and fruit for lunch. Lucas was so tired he took a 3 hour nap.Even Papa too a hour nap. No deal for Brian so we just hung out and played computers games Nick Jr. and looked at magazines. Played out on the back porch in the shade for the afternoon. The kids came over after school and played for about an hour.
Made chicken, broc with cheese, rice and fruit salad for dinner. Lucas ate 1 bite of everything with cheese sauce and his fruit. Brian ate 1 bit of chicken when Papa showed him how to dip it in catsup and fruit.
Brian went pooh in toilet and was so proud...Gram gave him 50 cents for a fine job!
Papa took boys out back to help with watering, then swings. At 8 pm it was ice cream and 1 cookie, then a bath... Danny read a new story to them with the Leap Frog and they went to bed at 9:00. Out like lights..
